Our special skin complex supports skin and nails in three ways: Biotin in its pure form (vitamin B8) ensures that normal skin is maintained, so that you can enjoy a rosy complexion. Highly bioavailable zinc bisglycinate in chelate form is absorbed particularly effectively by binding to the natural amino acid glycine and helps to strengthen your nails and protect the cells from oxidative stress.

But the heart of the formulation is our innovative triple complex of natural carotenoids: high-quality lutein and zeaxanthin from the branded raw material FloraGLO® are combined with natural lycopene from tomato extract. We do not use the commonly used synthetic mesozeaxanthin – a replica of the naturally occurring zeaxanthin that can compete with it for absorption into the cells.

The fat-soluble plant substances have an antioxidant effect and are better absorbed by the body when combined with cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil. In addition to the important trace element zinc in its highly bioavailable, organically bound form zinc bisglycinate and the B vitamin biotin , at Be4 we also rely on the power of carotenoids to offer you natural support for your skin and nails.

Carotenoids belong to the group of secondary plant substances that are found in many types of fruit and vegetables and give them their bright colors. Plants such as tomatoes, which contain lycopene , or marigolds, from which valuable lutein and zeaxanthin are extracted, are particularly rich in carotenoids. In addition to their natural coloring, they are particularly known for their antioxidant properties.

Highly dosed and gently extracted, the fat-soluble carotenoids in Be4 are optimally absorbed by the body thanks to their embedding in cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil. Once there, they are stored in the skin, among other things.

Good to know : Orange skin due to carotenoids? It’s usually not that bad. But it is scientifically recognized that carotenoids are stored by the body in the skin and protect it from oxidative stress, e.g. from UV radiation. At the same time, they ensure a fresh complexion (1).
