Vino C® – OPC (Bio), 120 Capsules

Vino C® – OPC is a dietary supplement produced from grape seed concentrate and acerola powder. The nutrients in the raw materials complement each other perfectly – not only does Vino C® – OPC contain high-quality, natural vitamin C from acerola cherries, it also contains OPC (oligomeric proanthocyanidins), which are some of the polyphenols in the grape seeds.

Grape seeds contain a range of secondary plant substances, including the OPC compound which is of particular interest. Oligomeric proanthocyanidins, also known as oligomeric procyanidins (OPC), are naturally occurring substances in plants, which belong to the flavanols group (a sub-class of flavonoids). They are classed as secondary plant substances, which are used by plants as deterrents against harmful, external, environmental factors.

The acerola cherry comes from South America and is characterised by its high levels of vitamin C. When combined with other bioactive substances in the cherry, it produces a compound which protects cells through its anti-oxidative capacity. Our high-quality acerola powder contains at least 17% natural vitamin C.
