Through early harvesting, gentle cold pressing under oxygen-reduced conditions and immediate, rapid, chilled bottling, we obtain an olive oil with an exceptionally high polyphenol content of up to 1,000 mg/kg and guarantee a value of at least 750 mg/kg. The oil is stored protected from light and at 7°C until dispatch. This means that our O’Liv PLUS oil is optimally protected from oxidation throughout the entire process.
When harvesting our olives, we place great importance on nature conservation . Every year, several million songbirds die because harvesting machines that drive through the fields at night catch the birds in the trees. That is out of the question for us! The olives for O’Liv PLUS come from growing areas in Greece , where the harvest is traditionally done by hand . Avoiding synthetic pesticides also protects the biodiversity of the olive groves.

Our organic olive oil naturally contains a particularly high proportion of Omega-3, Omega-6, Omega-9 as well as hydroxytyrosol and tyrosol.
Polyphenols are secondary plant substances and are valued for their many health-promoting properties . These include the ability to protect the cells of the human body from free radicals and prevent oxidative stress. Studies confirm that olive oil is one of the healthiest foods in the world . Olive oils with a polyphenol content of 250 mg/kg or more can have a therapeutic effect . Conventional oils, however, usually only have a content of around 50-100 mg/kg. With 750 mg/kg of polyphenols, O’Liv PLUS protects blood lipids from oxidative stress*. The high polyphenol content is reflected in the intense, bitter taste .
